Look what came in the mail the other day! Yes, that's right. My MaxStar shoes.
For those who don't know, MaxStar is an online store with a variety of platform shoes coming from South Korea!
Those who follow me on Instagram and on Facebook already know that I was lucky enough to be sponsored a pair of shoes from MaxStar to review.
So the other day I got an E-mail from MaxStar agreeing to let me review one of their products and I'm absolutely ecstatic. I got the E-mail Wednesday saying that they'd ship out the shoes the next day and that I'd receive it within 3-4 days. So after they sent it out, I checked the progress on the FedEx shipping link they provided me with and to my surprise, the shoes were scheduled to come in literally the next day - Which they did!
They also sent me a free extra pair of black shoe laces for the shoes!
The Design - ❤❤❤❤❤
I love the shoes and everything about them. They fit everything I have and really help with creating outfit cords. I love how there's a zipper on the side rather than having to put it on like a regular shoe. Usually with regular shoes I always end up stepping on the back of the shoes and it kind of creases it. With these shoes I won't have that problem. They're just easy to put on and I love them. Definitely something I'll be able to wear whenever.
To be honest, I actually missed the package when it arrived because it came in pretty early and I didn't wake up till an hour after - luckily the slip said I could pick it up the same day after 6pm.
I rushed there and ran inside all giggly. They shipped it through FedEx and it was so nicely packaged and secure. When I opened the box I found the shoes all wrapped up inside a drawstring (I think that's what it's called?) MaxStar bag and extra wrapped in a plastic bag.
So as soon as I got home I opened up the package and squealed. The shoes are so cute! It was the right size and I found nothing wrong with them. Absolutely nothing.

The Design - ❤❤❤❤❤
The comfort - ❤❤❤❤♡
I really really wish I could give these shoes all full hearts ; A ; Don't get me wrong, these shoes ares absolutely great because they're light and easy to wear around. The actually REALLY comfortable. The only problem I have with them is the laces up the back. If you don't wear socks long enough to cover the back of your ankle (I don't what to call it) it will burn your skin - If you understand what I mean (Its like a rug burn but from shoe laces). The first day I wore the shoes they were great but it was because I wore tights. Today when I wore them it started to hurt since my socks didn't cover enough of my skin. Everything other than that though, is perfect. I have a whole lot of toe space and I can change how tight or loose the shoes are with the 2 buckles at top. Now that I know about the laces I'll start wearing longer socks, so if you decide to get this design, remember to keep in mind to wear socks!
The height - ❤❤❤❤❤
These shoes are about 8cm in complete platform and insole height and I can really see how it makes me taller. I really enjoy feeling taller and it's really great on a girl who's 5'2 ya'know? I would definitely recommend MaxStar for the girls who wouldn't mind the extra height. Haha, ladies it's your chance to be taller!
Service - ❤❤❤❤❤
MaxStar is run by the nicest people! They were nice in their emails and were quick to reply. MaxStar is also the shop that I've had the fastest shipping ever from! 1 day - or more likely less than 24 hours! It's also coming from Korea so I think it's really impressive. Really worth it!
Overall - ❤❤❤❤❤
Overall I love love love MaxStar and would recommend to anyone who's interested in platforms. They range from around $30 to $200 depending on if you want normal shoes or custom designs! I am in love with the store and will buy another pair of platforms in the near future because of how great they are. I will just say don't miss out and get a pair. If you think they're odd or scared to wear these kind of shoes in public, don't be! Be yourself and show off your sense of style. In only 2 days people have complimented my shoes none stop and I won't lie, I love the compliments. Don't worry about being judged, just be you!
