*Kimchi Mio Brown* Circlelens review ♡

Monday, February 04, 2013

Like I said a few weeks back, I would be getting in my new circlelenses and I finally got them (1/24/13)! I know this review is a bit late, and I apologize. I've just been really busy with activities and school but now I'll finally be posting this up. Here is the review on my new Kimchi Mio Brown circle lenses from Iszo Circle lens!

So like always, here is the packaging. It's always so small and I love how cute and light it is. Always filled with bubble wrapped and the vials are always secure!

When I opened it I saw something I didn't see the last time. They actually had my prescription and the case type on the flap. Oh, and the handwriting is so cute. My hand writing sucks compared to that ; o ;

Upon opening my package I found that it wasn't packaged like it was like the first time in mini bags but instead in a cute little plastic pouch bag. The case and vials were visible through the bag and tbh I almost freaked out because I didn't know the vials were wrapped in bubble wrap. I thought they were out in the open. It almost gave me a heart attack. Anyways, since I opened it while I was using my laptop I took a lot of pictures with the keyboard, haha. Like the last time there's a lot of pictures OTL

Sob I really love that little baggie look at it! It's so cute. I ended up keeping it and putting little notes in it;; Okay okay yes, now for the actual review.

Here's the stock photo.

OTL Why does my skin look so bad here?

The color -  ♡

So, I know that the color is brown and I'm actually really satisfied with the color, although I do wish it was a bit lighter so people could tell I was wearing lenses. When people see it they can tell it's brown but they can't really notice any other colors unless they look up close, which they don't usually do.

The size/Enlargement -

Ahhh, these lenses are 16mm and I love it. When I first got it and tried them on I looked in the mirror and I felt as if they aren't as big as my last ones. I tried them both on at the same time for a side to side comparison and they did look similar in size but after I took a few pictures I did see that they were in fact, different sizes, but only slightly. Here's a photo with one contact in and the other one out. As you can see, it makes my eyes huge! I love love love it.

Here's my 14mm Kirakira vs 16mm Mio. Like I said, they do look similar in size, but I think it's because of the black outer ring on the Kirakira.

The comfort -

So so so comfortable. I love these contacts oh so much. They're absolutely lovely. For pretty big contacts, they're easy to put in and they don't get irritated, even after wearing through a full school day. When I put them in they move right into place and I never have to retry putting them in (and I had to do that with my contacts before). You could wear them and end up forgetting they're there! That's how comfortable they are!

The Design -

I like the design, but I wish it were more noticeable from a distance. The only time you can see the other colors and swirls is when you're looking at them up close. I'm not complaining though because the size makes up for it and makes my eyes pop out. It's like a subtle dark brown with some colors. I love them!

Overall -  ♡

Overall I love these contacts and I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for nice brown lenses. Although I love them, I don't think I'll be getting another pair from the Kimchi Mio series anytime soon. Maybe I'll get it in another color but for right now, probably not. Oh! Do you guys want to know something funny? When I first opened my vials I had a panic attack because I thought I bought a different pair of brown ones! Then I went onto the website and checked my order history and saw that I actually bought my Mio ones. Silly me~ Maybe I'll buy the other ones next time, so watch out for that!

Here's more photos of the contacts and some photos of me wearing it (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
Continue onwards after the photos too, I have a little note and announcement!

Like my last contacts, these weren't sponsored, but guess what! I am now sponsored by Iszo circle lens, so make sure to check them out! (My next lenses reviews will most likely be the ones they're sponsoring me)

Look forward to my next reviews and next blog posts!
